A few more flashbacks

Alright, I'll admit it: I'm ready for cooler, crisp weather, colorful leaves and sweaters. That's right! I am so ready for fall. to inspire myself for some cool weather clothing, I bring you some selected outfits from past falls. Enjoy ladies and gents.

 

I love the red tighs with this outfit! It is fun and colorful and reminds me how much I love wearing colored tights in the fall!

Who doesn't love a great fall skirt?! The orange color mixed with the red flowers is perfect for fall. You can play off the color with a green color, or something more neutral. Awesome pieces for fall weather.

I often wear jeans in fall, but I love accessories that bring the fall feeling to an outfit. A nice hat, red shoes, a scraf with fall colors and suddenly I am in the mood. The beautiful fall leaves help too!

 

So now after some inspiration, who is ready for fall?

 

Remembering favorite clothing

Do you have a favorite piece of clothing that you wish you still owned, but no longer do? Of course you do! I think that all of us have favorite pieces of clothing we loved from the past that we wish we still owned and had in our wardrobe. Sometimes we lose these pieces because we outgrow them and sometimes we lose them because they are worn out. Sometimes we haven't worn them in so long, we decide to give them away in a cleaning rampage and then wish we had them back. So here is my post to a few previous items I wish were still in my wardrobe!

I loved this skirt! It was an all seasons kind of skirt. It was light and airy for summer but worked well for fall, as seen here. Alas, the elastic ripped out and I couldn't fix it.

I found this dress at a thrift store, and it was clearly homeade and fabulous. It was a throwback and gave me a great shape. It also got holes in it thanks to a puppy. How sad :(

I miss this scarf, which was colorful and light as well as this purple shirt. I haven't found another shirt this color that I've liked in a long time. Sometimes the color pallet just calls for a light purple. The scarf and the shirt were donated when I was cleaning my closet and preparing to move. SInce I hadn't worn either in a while, I decided to donate them.

Oldies but goodies

Alright, after a long break and a deleted blog I am finally back! I have been so flipping busy trying to get my life settled, I haven't had time to blog. Blah, blah, excuse, I know, blogging just wasn't my protity. Well, I am coming back to blogginh and hopefully will be posting new pictures and such to this blog. For now, I am going to do a few review posts of some of my favorite past outfits for inspiration.

I wore this outfit for a dinner in Spring of 2010. I was in Las Vegas and it was pretty warm but AC in resaurants is always on full blast. Thowing on a sweater is a great idea!

Summer 2010. It was HOT! I always like simple summer looks when it is so warm. The dress is strapless so I added a vest to make it less revealing and to add another color. Perfect!

Late Summer 2010. It was also very warm in late summer going wine tasting. Dressing up is great when wine tastin but wearing heels is not something I usually like to do. Throw on cute flats, problem solved.
